My education and specializations

As a native Italian translator I specialize in English to Italian, Italian to English, Spanish to Italian, and German to Italian translations. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I’ve been providing top-notch Italian translation and marketing services to indie authors and publishing companies as well as businesses of all sizes in several industries.

After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Bologna, Italy, I took things up a notch and earned an MBA. After that I’ve had the privilege of working as an International Marketing Manager for big international companies and publishing houses.

When I set out working as a freelancer with Doubleface Traduzioni after becoming a mom, I specialized in literary translation and marketing. I am now listed as an expert interpreter and translator at the local Chamber of Commerce. In 2019 I won the literary translation contest organized by “La Bottega dei Traduttori“.

My main areas of expertise are fiction and non-fiction books, marketing materials and social media texts for the following industries: tourism and travel, food and beverage, design and architecture, social sciences and journalism.

Books translations comprise books in the following categories: Romance, Young Adult, Children, Crime fiction, Comic and Graphic Novels, Non-Fiction and History.

Not only am I a dedicated translator, but I’m also an avid book lover and reviewer. Since 2016, I’ve been a top reviewer on Netgalley, sharing my thoughts and insights on the latest literary gems. I’m an active member of various literary groups, both in Italy and internationally. You could say I’m always in the loop when it comes to the literary world.

Plus, I’ve built strong connections with book bloggers and I take great pleasure in marketing the books I translate. It’s my way of spreading the word and sharing the love for literature while helping my clients promote their books.
