My education and specializations

As a native Italian translator I specialize in English to Italian, Spanish to Italian, and German to Italian translations. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I’ve been providing top-notch Italian translation and marketing services to indie authors and publishing companies as well as businesses of all sizes in several industries.

After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Bologna, Italy, I took things up a notch and earned an MBA. After that I had the privilege of working as an International Marketing Manager for big international companies and publishing houses.

When I set out working as a freelancer with Doubleface Traduzioni after becoming a mom, I specialized in literary translation and marketing. I am now listed as “Expert interpreter and translator” at the local Chamber of Commerce, a title that is only granted after deep scrutiny by their commission. In 2019 I won the literary translation contest organized by “La Bottega dei Traduttori“.

My main areas of expertise are fiction and non-fiction books, marketing materials and social media texts for the following industries: tourism and travel, food and beverage, design and architecture, social sciences and journalism.

Books translations comprise books in the following categories: Romance, Young Adult, Children, Crime fiction, Comic and Graphic Novels, Non-Fiction and History.
